Baldazzi & Iacobellis: This talented team of Italian master goldsmiths create custom jewelry from their studio on La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. Gabriele Baldazzi hails from the Italian capital city of Rome where he first learned goldsmithing in high school at the renowned Institute of Art Marino, and eventually worked in the Vatican Museum in metals conservation and maintenance. Baldazzi specializes in gemstone carving, cameos, and intaglio carving. He partners with bench goldsmith Deborah Iacobellis from the Italian city of Ancona. The artistic duo founded their workshop in 1991, creating jewelry inspired by antiquity and the Italian Renaissance, as well as specializing in engraving, enameling, and antique restoration.
