Singing Bird Box, Gilt & Enamel, Attributed to Griesbaum, GermanyCase: two body, rectangular with rounded engraved corners, 103 x 66 x 45 mm, side panels with enameled alpine riverside scenes, blue and creme enameled borders, top panel and oval lid with a polychrome enameled scene of two young gentlemen and a young lady on a swing, inner pierced and engraved grille over the recessed red singing bird, gilt bottom stamped with KG bird trademark, also marked EB in an oval frame and Ken-D in a diamond frame, presented with a fitted box and bird form winding key
Movement: rectangular brass, going barrel and rectangular bellows, the revolving bird with moving wings and beak, braided wire feet, controlled by two cams mounted under the barrel wheel
