George P. Reed Rare Pocket Chronometer No. 25, circa 1865Case: silverode, 18 size, later case, leaf and rule engraved pattern on back
Dial: white enamel, single sunk, sub seconds, Roman numerals, spade hands, black minute track
Movement: No. 25, pivoted detent chronometer escapement, damaskeened nickel plates, engraved balance bridge, gold bezel set ruby end stone jewel, screw down jewel settings, cap jewel on the escape wheel, patent barrel with Maltese cross governor
