Description

Aqua-Dive, Model 50, Dive Watch and Depth Gauge, Circa 1970's
Case: 47 mm, Three body, screw done caseback, rotating bakelite bezel. Patent # 337 78 60
Dial: Two-tone blue and black dial, with luminous hour markers. Depth gauge measurement. Luminous hour, minute, depth gauge hand
Movement: Baylor Watch Co, oil-filled electronic movement, with depth gauge complication
Band: Fabric dive strap
Signed: Aqua-Dive on dial. Baylor Watch Co on movement

The Aqua-Dive Model 50 was launched 1973 and was advertised as being approved and endorsed by Astronaut Scott Carpenter, who by this time was also a respected Aquanaut after his SEALAB adventures.

Condition: Case is good original condition. Dial is superb. Bakelite bezel is good, but shows some fading. Missing screw for the batter mount, but movement runs. Oil no longer in case. Depth gauge has not been tested. Service is recommended.
