Bailly Paris Unusual Enamel, Silver & Pearl Form Mandolin For The Turkish Market, circa 1820
Case: silver gilt with polychrome enamel, 125 mm x 44 mm, hinged back centered by a large pearl, large baroque pearl centering the back of the neck, black enameled Greek key design on the edge, open pierced aperture over the balance wheel, inner lid and frame with mosaic enameled patterns
Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, moon hands
Movement: gilt full plate, verge fusee, two footed pierced balance cock, silver disc regulator
