Breitling Stainless Steel Fine Early Navitimer Chronograph Wristwatch Valjoux 72, Pre-806, circa 1954Case: 40mm, stainless steel, three piece snap/bezel is bi-directional non-locking, #843580
Dial: Black multi scale dial with luminous hour markers, Luminous white baton hands (later replacement)
Movement: Breitling signed Valjoux 72, 17 jewel movement
Band: Breitling signed NSA stainless steel woven bracelet. Total length: 6 3/4 inches

Condition: The watch is in very good overall condition. Lug chamfers are visible but shows polish and case shows evidence of detailing. Very nice finely beaded early bezel and well preserved nearly flawless dial. Correct crown. Later hand set. The watch will set and the chronograph will engage but it will run inconsistently and tends to stop after a short time. The attached Breitling NSA bracelet is in excellent condition but is short. The service history of the watch is unknown and a service is recommended.
