    Case: black metal, 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/2 ", button set aside the winding crown to set the center date on the dial
    Dial: black metal, CDIA Aircraft Clock (Civil Date Indicator, Aeronautical) luminescent numerals, kite hands, center seconds sweep, luminescent fives
    Movement: 16 jewels, 8 day manual wind

    Clocks were made by both Elgin and Hamilton in 1944-45 for the U.S. Navy to meet the demands of War, used in WWII carrier based aircraft such as the F4U Corsair and F6 Hell Cat.
