French Ornate Gilt Wall Cartel Clock Eight Day Time & Strike, circa 1880Case: 19 1/2 inches top to bottom, original heavy gilding on metal,14 inches across at the widest point, pierced metal work panels, ornate floral and leaf outer areas
Dial: 5 1/4 inch diameter, white enamel, radial Roman hour chapters, black minute track with Arabic five minute numbers, gilt Louis XV hands
Movement: circular brass, time and strike on bell, platform escapement, lever, seven jewels
