Miniature Shell & Gold Minute Repeating Clock, circa 1890Case: measures 2 3/4 inches top to bottom excluding the handle, 1 7/8th inches across, 18k gold British hallmarked handle and interior hinge for the back door, hallmarked A. & Co. Ltd., gold bezel and ball feet, gold pusher for the repeat
Dial: enamel, black Roman numerals and minute track, blued steel spade hands
Movement: Brevet 30225, No. 2229, rectangular gilt back plate mounted with steel hammers and gong rods, platform lever escapement and compensated balance wheel

Watch Movement: Brevet 30225, No. 2229, rectangular gilt back plate mounted with steel hammers and gong rods, platform lever escapement and compensated balance wheel

Condition: movement is chiming well and running, the regulator arm is partially broken off where it curves to drop down, case is very good overall, left side panel with a repaired glazed over hairline crack, dial good with some blurring to the minute track and numerals
