    Case: measures 4 x 2 1/2 x 2 inches, Corniche style gilt case, oval glass to the top, strike/silent lever on the bottom
    Dial: enamel, Roman chapters, spade hands, sub dial for the alarm
    Movement: platform lateral lever, bi-metallic compensated balance, quarter hour repeating and striking, No. 438, AM makers punch mark
