Case: 18k multicolor gold, large 6 size (44 mm), front with flowers and a black rose crest, back with a heron and cattail motif, inner gold dust cover with additional gold bezel and photo frame
Dial: enamel, Roman numerals, blue tulip hands
Movement: nickel, 3/4 plate, lever escapement, # 513249
Signed: dial and movement signed Elgin, case marked K.&.U. patented 1881
