Case: bright gilt twisted column Anglaise case, 4 x 3 x 2 1/2 inches, very ornate filigree side and back frames over mirror finished panels
Dial: enamel, gold birds, flowers and lace work, black Roman numerals, gold spade hands
Movement: Brevet 13896, platform lever escapement, steel hammers striking on visible gong rods, silence/strike button on the bottom of the base, minute repeating from a push button on the top, striking on the hours and half-hours
