    Case: 14k gold, 55 mm, gold cuvette, gold bow with chain guard, 18 size, fully engraved rim and lids with flowers, leaves, scallops, swirls and circular engine turnings, inner gold bezel and glass crystal

    Note: The Dubois Watch Case Co. was founded in 1887, in Brooklyn N.Y. The company specialized in expensive, highly ornamented gold cases which were hand made and marked with the four "D" trademark. In 1904, Dubois bought out Andrew K. Shiebler & Son (successors to Jeaannot & Schiebler). The fine example presented here is for a standard American lever setting movement. The gross weight is 90 grams.
