Note: The Extract from the Archives presented with this lot shows that it initially sold with a leather strap on July 1st, 1960. This exceedingly rare case design was developed to give the owner the option of having a watch with traditional lugs and a leather strap or a metal bracelet which would fit the watch with an "integral" look. Fewer than ten reference 3419 models have appeared on the market in the past two decades.
