    Breguet Very Fine & Rare 18k Gold Wandering Hour Pocket Watch, Original Box, circa 1935
    Case: 18k white gold, three body, plain back, Art Deco style pendant and bow, 45 mm
    Dial: matte silver, wandering central disc with gilt arrow, aperture for the jumping hours, outer chapter ring with gilt triangular and lozenge markers
    Movement: No. 2182, nickel finished lever movement, 18 jewels, eight adjustments, bi-metallic compensated balance, straight line damaskeening
    Signed: case, dial and movement signed Breguet France No. 2182, with original fitted Breguet signed presentation box

    Note: In the 1920's and 1930's Breguet sold wandering hour watches with the system patented by the Swiss watchmaker Robert Cart around 1925. A similar watch is illustrated in "Breguet-Watchmakers Since 1775" by Emmanuel Breguet, p. 316.
