    Case: 14k white gold, double hinged back Lord Elgin "Corsican" model, engraved and beaded edges and bow, inscribed "To My Pal Henry Tobin From Jack Dempsey October 1, 1926"
    Dial: antique white with engraved pattern, golden bell form hands, Art Deco style numerals, subsidiary seconds

    *Note: Henry Tobin purchased the Glenwood Hotel in Sloatsburg New York in 1903. He became well known for "Tobin's Saloon" in the hotel. The rumor goes that libations were provided to many of the visiting celebrities during the prohibition and it is highly likely that Jack Dempsey was a part of Tobin's clientele. Henry Tobin died in 1928.
