    Rolex Rare G.S. MK II British Military Pocket Watch, circa 1940's
    Case: four body, stainless, 50 mm, screw back with military markings, glass crystal
    Dial: black enamel, luminous Arabic numerals, luminous minute track, sub seconds, luminescent skeleton hands
    Movement: nickel bridge, straight line lever escapement, cut bi-metallic compensated balance with blued steel Breguet spring
    Signed: triple signed Rolex

    Note: The G.S MK II model was introduced for the British Navy in 1903 and production lasted until 1956. Examples with black enameled dials are very rare. The specifications were for a keyless watch with leather thong, strong lever, in metal case with strong glass crystal, fully luminous with a 15 jeweled movement.
