Ami LeCoultre Rare Split Second Chronograph With Return To Zero Jump Quarter Seconds And Minute Register, circa 1881Case: massive, 18k yellow gold, 54 mm, engine turned front and back, gold cuvette, plain rim, push buttons on the band to activate the split center seconds and jump 1/4 seconds, the jump seconds, center split seconds and minute register all flyback to zero
Dial: white enamel, black Roman numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th second divisions, red five minute numerals, subsidiary dials for the minute register and jump seconds, spade hands
Movement: 3/4 plate nickel movement, No. 3127, marked "Patd. Jan. 4, 81", straight line lever escapement, bi-metallic compensated balance with snail disc micrometric regulator, 28 jewels, damaskeened finish
