    Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, thirty hour power reserve indicator, subsidiary seconds at six, gold spade hands
    Movement: No. 197, gilt, 3/4 plate, finely engraved balance cock and foot, raised barrel cover with set up click, fusee with chain, Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance with gold timing screws, blued steel helical hairspring with diamond endstone, free sprung regulator, cap jewel on the escape wheel

    Note: It is extremely rare to find an example of this prominent watchmaker in it's original gold case. The lot presented here also includes the original jewelers box and a 23.3 gram gold Albert chain with hardstone key and a 1851 one dollar gold coin fob. Arthur Paul Walsh was widely recognized as one of the finest springer and adjusters in the British watchmaking community.
