Arnold Adams & Co. Two Train Gold Captain's Watch With Independent Seconds, circa 1870Case: 18k yellow gold, 49 mm, engine turned back with central crest, gold cuvette, coin edge, start/stop lever for the seconds on the rim
Dial: gold with engraved village scene and swirls, Roman hour chapters, subsidiary seconds track, blue spade hands, independent center seconds
Movement: two train gilt bridge, bi-metallic balance, lateral lever escapement, 21 jewels, blued plate screws
Signed: cuvette is signed "Arnold Adams & Co., London, Observation Timepiece, Double Time, Independent Seconds", gross weight is 75.3 grams
