    Bracebridge London Gold Demi-Hunter Fusee With Wind Indicator, circa 1867
    Case: 18k yellow gold, four body, 50 mm, blue enameled Roman chapters around the front opening, gold cuvette, back is centered by an overlay monogram in light and dark blue enamel
    Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, blue spade hands, sub seconds, sunk upper dial for the 24 hour wind indication, outer minute track with 1/5th second divisions
    Movement: No. 38944, gilt, lateral lever escapement, screw down jewel settings with five diamond end stones, bi-metallic compensated balance, signed "D. Keys Patent" under the dial
    Signed: movement and dial signed Bracebridge's London, gross weight is 107 grams

    Note: Edward Charles Bracebridge made chronometers and deck watches for the Admiralty from 1851 to 1881. D. Keys patented a keyless mechanism for fusee watches in December, 1861.
