    Canche (Saumur) Interesting Late 17th Century Verge Fusee
    Case: silver, two body, plain with five joint side hinge, bulls eye crystal, 51 mm
    Dial: enamel, gilt Louis XV pierced hands, Roman numerals separated by double dots at the half hour positions, outer minute track, large outer five minute numerals
    Movement: deep fire gilt verge fusee, silver trim to the back plate edge, tall square baluster pillars, pierced and engraved two footed cock with a ruby set steel coqueret, large silver disc regulator
    Signed: Canche, Saumur (this is a town 70 miles from the French watchmaking center in Blois)

    Watch Movement: fire gilt with silver edge decoration, tall square baluster pillars, pierced and engraved two footed cock with ruby mounted coqueret, large silver disc regulator

    Condition: movement is very good and ticking strongly, case is very good, dial with some hairlines and former repairs
