Courvoisier & Comp. Rare Ultra Thin Gold & Enamel Key Wind, circa 1850'sCase: ultra thin, 3 millimeters deep, 18k with enameled polychrome flowers on the front, golden enameled scene of a young lady with lute on the back, black, white and blue enameled accents, inlay silver leaf designs, 47 mm, three body, inner movement cover with swirl engravings
Dial: silver with gilt accents, Roman numerals, blue moon hands, mainspring barrel and partial balance assembly visible thru the dial
Movement: ultra thin (2 mm thick) cylinder escapement, bridge with 13 jewels
Signed: back movement cover plate signed Courvoisier & Comp
Note: This is an extremely rare and unique timepiece, likely the thinnest watch in existence when it was produced. A gold and enameled link chain with a male winding key is also included
