    Henry Capt "Demi-Chronometer" Fine Gold Pocket Watch With Chronograph, circa 1880
    Case: massive, 18k rose gold, drum style, reeded back edge and bezel, plain hinged back, inner hinged bezel with glass over the movement, signed Henry Capt "Demi-Chronometre, 22 Rubis" inside the back lid, 50 mm, pin set button on the rim and gold lock out slide for the chronograph
    Dial: enamel, black Roman numerals, outer 1/5th second marks and small red five minute numbers, fleur-de-lis hands, subsidiary seconds with red numerals, center chronograph sweep hand
    Movement: No. 30040, nickel bridge, 22 jewels, straight line lever escapement, bi-metallic compensated balance, counter poised pallet fork, wolf's tooth winding, gold center wheel, chronograph work under the dial
