    Provenance: The Time Museum, Catalog No. 335, Inv. 2629
    The Fellows family were prominent jewelers in Maiden Lane, New York City from about 1819 through the middle of the 19th century. From 1848, Fellows & Schell advertised as importers of watches and jewelry at 21 Maiden Lane. James W. Fellows is listed in the 1859 City Directory as a spring maker, 21 Maiden lane.
