    Case: 58 mm, sterling hallmarked, C.H. makers mark for Charles Harris, Coventry, slide stop lever on the rim, back with initials DM and Masonic symbol
    Dial: off white enamel, Roman chapters, subsidiary seconds, gold spade hands, blue center sweep timer hand, completes one revolution every two seconds, outer seconds track calibrated to 16ths of a second with the quarters marked for 8ths.
    Movement: No. 24854, gilt, jeweled to the center wheel, three arm gold balance, stem wind, key set,
    Signed: dial signed Williams Patent No. 4762, Sole Maker John Taylor, Rochdale

    Note: Another example of this unusual patent and maker was sold in July 2017, London, as part of "The Celebration of the English Watch part IV". The watch is also found in the book "The English Watch 1585-1970" by Terence Camerer Cuss, p. 424. plate 274.
