    Movement: gilt, star shaped cut out over the worm shaped gear, vertically placed escape wheel, no. 23642, 7 jewel, marked Pat. 1887

    Note: Originally advertised as "the watch with a worm inside", this design was patented in 1887 by R. J. Clay. Very few examples were produced and few have survived.
