    Swiss Diamond, Enamel, Gold Lady's Openface Pocket Watch with Accompanying Chatelaine, French, circa 1850

    Case: 28 mm, hinged, circular 18k yellow gold with coin edge and applied royal blue enamel accented by rose-cut diamonds, no. 42040
    Dial: white enamel with black Roman numerals, gilt "Moon" hour and minute hands
    Movement: 24 mm, gilt, no. 3362, ultra thin keywind and set, cylinder escapement, referenced on dustcover as Giteau élève de Breguet, Palais Royal 140
    Note: an 18k yellow gold enamelled chatelaine comprising three chains of openwork and enamelled links suspending an enamelled key, an enamelled fob seal centering a bloodstone tablet bearing the initials, L. P., and the lady's openface pocket watch, completes the lot
