    Case: massive, 18k yellow gold, No. 11668, four body, plain hinged back, inner hinged bezel with display crystal over the movement, 54.5 mm diameter, 21.5 mm thick, gold hinges
    Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, black minute track, outer 1/5th second divisions with five second numerals, jump quarter seconds at six, blued steel spade hands
    Movement: No. 11668, nickel, two train, tandem winding, straight line lever escapement, bi-metallic balance with gold timing screws, two gold trains, straight line damaskeening, jeweled to the repeat hammers, estimated at 50 jewels, lever setting, rattrapante chronograph function and diaboltine jump quarter seconds activated by two buttons on the rim, repeat activated by a large gold slide on the rim

    Note: This exceptional and very rare timepiece has a highly unusual combination of complications. The time train and repeating element are of superior quality. This is combined with a sophisticated rattrapante chronograph without return to zero that Louis Audemars perfected along with the quarter second jump complication. The rattrapante chronograph mechanism is fitted beneath the dial. The gold slide bar for the repeat has a small depression in the middle that was a classic Louis Audemars feature.
