This timepiece comes from the original owner and purchaser. It is accompanied by its entire service history documentation from Rolex, and box.
From its inception in 1905, Rolex has been offered by the most exclusive and important jewelers in the world throughout its 114-year manufacture life. With respect to the greatest of Jewelers such as Tiffany & Co, and Joyeria Riveria, whose store signatures featured on Rolex dials, the rarest and most coveted are Rolex timepieces retailed by the house of Cartier.
This present lot, a Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 'Meters First' is offered by the original owner and purchaser. As a keen diver and founder of the 'New York Sea Gypsies' dive club, the watch has been on several diving adventures across the world including in Bermuda, Guam, Fiji, Indonesia, Morocco and in the oceans and lakes of the United States.
To ensure his dive 'tool' was always working exactly expected, the owner meticulously maintained the watch, serving it at regular intervals with the Rolex service center. As one expect from a passionate and experienced diver, all Rolex service documentation across the watches life was meticulously kept, as was the original and replacement oyster bracelets and its small, red Cartier box.
