This timepiece has been consigned by the godson of the original owner and purchaser. It was given to him in 1963, where it has been in safe keeping and now offered for the first time. It is accompanied by a later '77 date code rivet stretch Rolex oyster bracelet, that replaced the original

Circa: 1954
Condition: This timepiece is presented in very good preserved condition. The case retains well defined lug chamfers with visibly seen wear on case sides and top of lugs. Original rare bezel insert, with no hash marks, has aged to a purple/blue tone, and the pearl is missing at the 12 triangle. The original matte gilt dial is excellent with all lume intact. The original straight gilt hands and very rare lollipop tipped gilt second hand retains its lume and in excellent preserved condition. Movement runs and sets as it should. Service is recommended for daily use and timekeeping accuracy
