Breguet & Fils Gold Musical Quarter Hour Repeater, circa 1820Case: four body Empire case, 18k gold, 58 mm, engine turned back, reeded rim, gilt cuvette, slide on the rim at eight for activating the music
Dial: gold with black Arabic numerals on white enameled frames, chapter separated by stylized engraved flowers and blue enameled dots, white and black enameled minute track, Breguet moon hands
Movement: gilt, free standing barrels for the going and musical trains, three arm brass balance with polished steel end plate, cylinder escapement, dual steel hammers sounding on gong rods, sur plateau musical movement with 21 blued steel tines, music//silence lever, music on the hour or at will, brass toggle top winding discs
