Rare & Very Fine Gold & Enamel Verge Fusee, circa 1790Case: gold two body consular case with exceptional and rare scene depicting five children playing in the woods, translucent blue sky background, bezel and rectangular pendant and bow decorated with blue and white enamel, 53 mm, side pendant is numbered 3358 to match the movement
Dial: white enamel, gold Arabic numerals, outer star and berry minute markings, rose gold beetle and poker hands
Movement: No. 3358, gilt full plate, finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, three arm balance with blue steel spiral spring, silver regulator with blued steel indicator
