Chirat Paris Fine Late 17th Century Oignon, circa 1700Case: massive, gilt consular, five joint hinge, gilt pendant and bow ring, fully engraved and chased, 60 mm diameter
Dial: gilt and enamel cartouche dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, inner enameled minute ring, center decorated with birds and floral bouquet, blue steel beetle and poker hands, hour hand with tail
Movement: deep fire gilt verge fusee, engraved and pierced silver tow footed cock with jeweled coqueret, slender pierced Egyptian pillars with silver caps, four arm balance with spiral blue hairspring, large champlevé regulator disc with steel pointer surrounded by silver filigree ornaments
