Dent, London, Fine Gold Minute Repeater With Chronograph, Minute Register & Regulator Dial, circa 1872Case: 18k yellow gold, four body, hinged front opening to an inner gold bezel with thick glass crystal, plain back and plain inner gold cuvette, 54 mm, gold slide on the rim for the repeat activation, gold push button for the chronograph at twelve
Dial: white enamel, center minute hand and sweep seconds hand, 60 minute register at nine o'clock, hours with Roman numeral positioned at three, outer minute track and 1/5th second markings
Movement: gilt 3/4 plate by Nicole Nielsen, exposed setting gears, pin set button on the rim, side lever escapement with cap jewels on the pallet and escape wheel pivots, bi-metallic compensated balance
Signed: movement signed Dent, Watchmaker to the Queen, dial signed Dent 33 Cockspur St. London, case dial and movement all numbered 26754
