Gregson Paris Very Fine Gold & Enamel Verge Fusee, circa 1780Case: gold, double body, slim, 55 mm, lenticular bezels decorated with champlevé paillonne and white flowers, back with deep blue sunray guilloche enamel and a scene depicting a gentleman with a gift of roses for a young lady
Dial: white enamel, curved, Arabic numerals, tapered and pierced gold circle hands with pointed ends
Movement: thin gilt full plate, pierced and engraved two footed balance cock, straight fast/slow index arm in a recess, crescent shaped top plate with blued screws over the barrel and fusee, beveled and chased outermost edge
Signed: Gregson Paris on the dial and movement
