John Perigal London Fine & Rare Quarter Repeating Verge In Gold Repousse Pair Case, circa 1770Case: exceptional 49 mm high karat gold repousee outer case with classical scene, four figures, scrolls, scallops and outer piercing's, two body pierced gold inner case with mask and steel bell, inner signed and numbered gilt dust cap
Dial: white enamel, Roman hour chapters and Arabic five minute numbers, steel beetle and poker hands
Movement: No. 1385, gilt full plate, turned baluster pillars, pierced and engraved two footed bridge cock with diamond endstone, pierced crescent shaped top plate with silver disc regulator, hammers striking on inner steel case bell
