Swiss Massive Gold "Titanic" Presentation Minute Repeater With Calendar, Moon Phase & Chronograph, circa 1915
Case: 18k gold, four body, 62 mm diameter, 29 mm thick, gold cuvette, back with raised multicolor gold Titanic motif, front with raise coat-of-arms, inner front lid with gold bezel frame and portrait, additional gold frame and picture, gold slide for the repeat on the rim, gold button for the chronograph function
Dial: enamel, black Roman numerals, outer 1/5th seconds, blue spade hands, sub seconds with moon phase, month aperture below 12, sub dials for the date and days of the week
Movement: nickel 3/4 plate, straight line lever escapement 24 jewels, visible chronograph work, jeweled hammer striking on gong rods
Signed: unsigned, gross weight 312.8 grams

Note: Professedly, this watch was custom made as a presentation from Harland and Wolff and the White Star Line to the British Prime Minister David Lloyd George. However, no provenance accompanies the lot.
