Verge Fusee With Unusual Exposed Mock Pendulum & Regulator Discs, circa 1680'sCase: two body, gilt, 54 mm, side five joint hinge, circular disc cover over the back winding arbor
Dial: silver champleve, Roman hour numerals, large five minute numbers on the upper half, aperture below with a steel balance and bob, regulating discs on each side, steel beetle and poker hands
Movement: gilt verge fusee, fully engraved solid back plate with masks, pierced Egyptian pillars with ornate galleries above
Signed: movement is numbered 178 and signed London, also signed what appears to be Otzschkaw
