Swiss, Highly Ornate Heavy 18k Gold Minute Repeater, Circa 1895
Case: 54 mm, 18k yellow gold, four body, ornately chased and engraved, gold cuvette with decorative turnings and engravings, engraved pendant and bow
Dial: white enamel, radial Roman numerals, gold spade hands
Movement: nickel bridge with straight line lever escapement, bi-metallic compensated balance, jeweled to the hammers, 32 jewels, polished steel hammers striking on gong rods, wolf's tooth winding

Condition: The case presents in excellent overall condition. Hinges are good. One of the two front lid lift springs has been removed. The plain frame area on the cuvette shows that an inscription has been removed. The dial is superb. The movement is running and chiming as it should but servicing is recommended for time keeping accuracy and daily use.
