Dial: enamel, radial black Roman numerals, outer minute track with fifth of a second divisions and five minute numerals, center seconds, blued steel spade hands, broad arrow Admiralty mark at center
Movement: No. 3695, frosted gilt half plate, barrel with Admiralty broad arrow mark, jeweled to the center, bi-metallic free sprung balance with diamond endstone, blued steel hairspring, jeweled Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, six minute rotating Karrusel carriage
Signed: Wales & McCulloch, with hinged two body wood box, inner brass holding case with glass crystal, associated nickel silver watch chain
Note: This exceptionally rare military deck watch combines Bonnisken's revolving Karrusel mechanism with a chronometer detent escapement. This highly unusual combination is rarely seen and very complex. Only a few similar examples are known to exist.
