    Case: massive, pair case sterling, outer is 59 mm diameter, seven joint hinge, inner with seven names and dates inscribed from previous owners dating from 1722 to 1935, glass bulls eye crystal, both cases numbered 503 and bearing the makers initials of "TI"
    Dial: silver champleve, signed Kipling London, date window below center, Roman hour chapters, black minute track, outer Arabic five minute numerals, gilt hands
    Movement: deep fire gilt full plate, pierced Egyptian pillars, three arm balance, No. 503, worm and wheel set up between the plates, blue steel case catch spring, verge fusee and chain
