Cartier, Highly Important Piece Unique "Pendule Quatre Faces", circa 1992Case: 18k gold, octagonal base in gold and diamonds atop high polished larvikite, central pedestal in abalone and diamond set gold that ratchets to change positions of each of the four sides, upper 3 inch x 3 inch cube with frames set with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires, top with cabochon gemstones and a diamond and emerald finial topped by a carved emerald falcon, 7 inches high, No. 654649 marked on the base bottom
Dial: four mother-of pearl dials, principal and secondary time zone dials with raise gold Roman numerals, diamond and gem set minute tracks, perpetual calendar dial with gold ring indicators and lapis lazuli disc with aperture for the phases of the moon, barometer dial with raised gold plaques and pressure numerals, yellow gold indicator hands and minute hands, diamond set hour hands
Movement: Cartier Master Watchmakers designed, developed and manufactured 8-day mechanical movement composed of 221 parts, perpetual calendar set up until the year 2100
