    This timepiece is among those watch collectors refer to as "The Dirty Dozen," signifying the Swiss manufacturers that supplied watches to the British Ministry of Defense during World War II. All were built according to strict standards, with Broad Arrow dials and cases stamped WWW, for Watch, Wrist, and Waterproof. This example includes those letters, and both its military and civil serial numbers, on both sides of the case back, and is highly collectible.

    Condition: Very good, well-preserved condition throughout. Dial shows patina in keeping with its age, with aged luminous on markers and hands fully intact. Case appears unpolished, showing sharp edges and relatively light signs of wear. Running, but service is recommended.
