Note: Special 5513 Submariners were British Royal Navy military issues with specific adaptations. The dial was marked with an encircled "T" to indicate the use of the luminous material tritium. Some versions such as the present example were fitted with a special fully calibrated bezel. The watches were also fitted with the hacking feature to allow for a precise synchronization of time. The rare 5513 offered here was previously sold at a Sotheby's auction December 18th, 2008.
