This 18k YG Rolex Ref: 1675 comes from the personal collection of Hollywood actor Jimmy Darren, who was the original purchaser. The timepiece is accompanied by its original internal box and provenance letter from Mr. Darren.

Actor, Director and Singer James Darren was a student of NYC acting coach Stella Adler before making his name in the 1950's in a series of teenage-themed films. As a heartthrob and teen-idol, he excelled in pictures like Gidget (1959) and Gidget Goes Hawaiian (1961) before moving to more serious roles in the like of "The Guns of Navarone" (1961). He complemented his acting career in the early to mid-1960's as a singer, with several hits, including "Goodbye Cruel World" and "Her Royal Majesty" becoming one of Frank Sinatra's best friends along the way. star of a number of well known TV series including, "The Time Tunnel" in the 60's and T.J. Hooker in the 80's, Melrose Place in the 90's as well as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Condition: Case is in very good condition with light wear on lugs. Original gilt luminous nipple dial is superb, as are the hands. Bezel insert is in excellent condition. Bracelet is very good, with very little stretch. Movement runs and operates as expected. Service is recommended
