These gem-set Daytona's were offered in exceedingly low quantities, reportedly only to VIP international dealers. This particular example, reference 116598 SARO is a far rarer variant than the typical reference 116598 SACO "Leopard" model, and instead features 36 baguette-cut pink sapphires on the bezel to compliment the pave style diamond and ruby dial. There have been four reference 116598 SARO examples offered publicly, with two being sold at auction:

Phillips, "The Hong Kong Watch Auction: XII", June 5-6, 2021: Lot 1,095
Phillips, "The Geneva Watch Auction: XIV", November 5th and 7th, 2021: Lot 241

Consigned by the original owner and having received a servicing by Rolex in January of this year, this watch represents the pinnacle of Rolex gem-setting and Daytona collecting, and would be the crowning jewel of any watch collection.
