    Notes:
From Original Owner Request For Information Fax To Rolex Customer Service-
"In the early 1950's, while a Cadet in the United States Military Academy, at West Point, New York, I decided to purchase a chronograph wrist watch as I was going to be commissioned in the Field Artillery Branch of the United States Army. I saw a Rolex chronograph on display at the Cadet Store... Eventually I was told that Rolex had given the Cadet Store permission to sell me the chronograph... The chronograph has been very useful to me in adjustment of artillery fire while I was in the 82nd Airborne Division and the 4th Armored Division. The Chronograph has made over 30 parachute jumps with me and has performed to my highest expectations where accurate timing was essential."
