Dial: black dial, luminous indices, luminous Mercedes hands
Movement: Rolex cal. 1560, self-winding, 26 jewels
Band: Rolex Oyster bracelet, fits up to a 7 inch wrist
Signed: Rolex on the dial, case, movement, bracelet. Lot is presented with service pouch, as well as Service Paper addressed to Mr. Tony Christian and dated to August 10th, 1999.
Tony Christian is a legendary drag racer who has made an indelible mark in the world of racing. Born in 1955, Tony started racing at the age of 16 and quickly became one of the most successful racers of his time. He won numerous races and championships throughout his career, including the prestigious NHRA Top Fuel Championship in 1977, races he presumably won wearing this exact watch. Consigned to auction following his passing in June of last year, this lot presents a unique opportunity to acquire a watch of immense racing historical significance.

Band: Rolex Oyster bracelet, fits up to a 7 inch wrist

Condition: watch is in good overall condition. Dial has lume loss from 12 to 4 0' clock, see images. Case, bracelet have surface scratches throughout. Bracelet has stretch.
