Rolex Rare Ref. 5512 Submariner, Underlined Four Line Gilt Dial, Pointed Crown Guard, Box & Papers, circa 1960'sCase: stainless steel, three body, 40 mm, screw back, screw down crown with pointed guard, bi-directional bezel calibrated to 60 units, No. 990503
Dial: gloss black with applied luminescent dagger, baton and disc markers, luminescent Mercedes-style hands, gilt upper coronet and signature with silver underline, four line gilt and silver meters first lower signature
Movement: caliber 1560, rhodium finish, 26 jewels, automatic, adjusted to five positions and temperature, self compensating Breguet balance spring
Band: style 93150, stainless oyster link band with deployant clasp
Signed: fully signed Rolex, with the original inner and outer boxes and the "Certificado de Cronometro" paper
Note: This scarce early Submariner has the highly sought after pointed crown guard case and an exceptionally rare gilt lettered four line dial, underlined in silver below the Oyster Perpetual text.
